St. Baldrick'sI've done some research about the World's Greatest Shave and decided to do something similar to it in the US. After a browse around the world wide web, I came across St. Baldrick's website. I've organized an event in my area to take place January 18th, 2012. So now it's just a waiting game to get the information I need to set this event in action. I'm thinking about enlisting my local news station as well. We'll see where this goes. At any rate I've bought scarves to keep my head warm, since it tends to remain cold in January. Believe it or not, but our winter sets in after Christmas. Or at least it's been that way for a couple of years. I'm excited, and a little timid at the same time. I know it will all work out.
My goal is to raise over $1,000 dollars. I'm thinking I have enough time to reach, if not exceed that goal. Seth is going to shave his head alongside me. I'm not sure who else will do it with us. Time will tell.

I wasn't the best granddaughter. I didn't pick up the phone when I saw his name flash across the screen. If anything the phone ringing was soothing, more so than his voice. I'm funny like that. My mother said he had a quite death in October of last year. She got to see him two months before he passed. I was hopeful that he would fully recover, so I might see him later on. I couldn't afford to take off. I guess....I'm too much of a company girl.
His death and funeral was hard. My heart kept breaking. I didn't get to say my goodbyes. To say I loved him. To just....be with him. I heard my sisters talk of their visit with him weeks before he went.

I didn't have pre-wedding jitters in the morning. Shortly after I woke up, I returned to the quarter wash to vacuum and touch up my windows. About an hour went by before I knew it. Even though our escape from the wedding would happen under the glow of the moon, I was still worried about streaks. Perhaps I'm a perfectionist.
After I finished with my car it was time for mother and I to get our hair done. Janice was nice enough to treat us both to divine hairstyles. I was and am still blessed to have her part of my life. The same lady who did my hair for the bridal portraits did my hair for the wedding. Her heart had an iridescent glow. I swear, she's an angel. She spoke to her other customer in Spanish and what she said was translated: "You are beautiful. I'm going to make you look prettier than your bridal portraits." For her to care that much touched my soul. She was true to her word. I left with a bridal glow, the corners of my lips peaked at an angle.

New Series Coming Soon-Whately BasedI;m working on writing up a series to fill the gaps between releases. Unlike Tales of the MSU and the other project I am working on (I am outlining this unnamed project even more carefully than I do the MSU stories-the characters have been dancing in my head for six years, and I want their story to be as well written as I possibly can), this new series will not be outlined, meaning you can expect more of it. As I indicate in the title, it is based in the Whately setting (which means I have rereading to do).

Heavy Rubber Calendar 2013Hello
Last year I toyed with this idea, but I think I'm going to bite the bullet and actually do it this year. I have more material, I'm starting earlier and I know more what I'm doing.
It will be a bit challenging because a lot of my photos are "portrait" and not landscape in orientation, so some photos may have a thick "border" on the sides. I'm not aiming for perfection though (no one is) and hopefully this will be a pretty cool calendar to have - I know there are a number of "kinky/fetishy" calendars out there, but few heavy rubber ones. It should be a good deal too - you get 12 prints for a very reasonable price. A few of the photos will be ones you haven't seen yet

Before I get into what he had to say, and how cool it was, let me back up and talk about critiques, and me.
Many years ago I got a very nice critique from Colleen Doran. I knew Colleen from the comic shop I worked at, and it was amazing of her to take the time and give me her objective and professional opinion on my work.
Being young and stupid, I took it way to personal. As if it were an assault on me, and as if she was trying to be mean.
At that time I worked in an amusement park in the summer as a caricature artist. in 5-10 minutes in marker I had to draw a caricature of a total stranger and make them like the drawing. If they did NOT like the drawing they could refuse to pay, and demand another artist draw it. This rarely happened. maybe once or twice a month, but it was brutal. It would take me weeks to fully recover. To me a crit was either you liked it, or you hat

Girl PartsThere are about a million and one names for girl parts. I'm not even going to list the ones I DO know. But I find it a bit frustrating that there isn't a word that rolls off my tongue in a way that expresses how I feel about those precious areas.
