This is a game I once played, too, in a hotel room. I added earplugs to make it easier to sneak around. And then I opened the door to the room, and let it slam. Five seconds of pure panic on her part--and then I grabbed her, er, attention. YAY MINDFUCK! XD
Hm... the chair (and floor) would have to be pretty sturdy. Either that or Ally is not leaning on them as heavily as she appears to. Otherwise, Lisa would have felt the chair moving. In my experience, touch is the most difficult sense to deprive - when I was tied up and blindfolded, I could anticipate my dom's actions because his arms lay on me and I felt his tendons move.
Firstly, it's not "despite". Just like some people *like* their food more spicy than others rather than enduring the pepper, there are some that thrive on very specific applications of pain (no, there's nothing erotic about a brawl in the street at all). With the dom side, I think (not being one myself) it's partially about the accomplishment, the joy of others enjoying your work. Why are you an artist? There are thousands of artists on this page - you could easily lean back and just enjoy their work. But still, you draw, you photograph and you write. Perhaps because it is a way to express yourself and to give others something cool? Additionally, of course, there's joy in having a person's absolute trust, which Shiniez goes on about quite a bit. To see them sufficiently at ease with you that they let down their guard entirely, trusting in you that nothing will harm them and that you will watch over them while they're most vulnerable.
I don't know whether it's true that permanent blindness causes other senses to become sharper, but at least when you temporarily can't see, milking any remaining senses for interpretable output IMO comes naturally.
