Super-heroes actually typically wear Spandex (like professional ice-skaters or skiers or gymnasts).
Love the "justlatexfetishistinsummerthings" at the bottom xD

Come on, think of sweating in the latex as just another punishment.

If you can't think of it that way, you either need a good A/C, or be doing something that will keep your mind and body tied up, I mean, occupied.

Probably why Latex shops don't set up in Texas much, Our summers are hot, humid, or both.

Although would one feel the humidity in full enclosure? (Sure they would sweat in the heat... but I doubt outside humidity would be able to get in.)

Of course the head if left open would be subject to the regular humidity...

Sorry my brain just ponders these things at times.

Oh yeah - that was also my thought, when I put on my first catsuit ever xD So true!!!
It took me 30 minutes, but that days  still had 1,5cm Long fingernails and was afraid of tearing the Latex accidentally *lol*
I'm faster now, but it still takes me quite long ^^"

b-but the moisture trapped between your skin and latex makes it feel even cooler inside when wind hits you. It's not all bad.

Undress each other in the shower.
The water should help the latex slide off, and the body's oils/perspiration should be washed off the rubber ASAP, so think of the dirty fun to be had getting clean.

I wouldn't know from experience, of course, it's just something I, eh, heard.

I know this feeling soooo well and it's so depressing when you spend ages getting ready to find you're too damn hot n annoyed to do anything but take everything off and jump in the shower :D

As tempting as it is to make a comment about leather versus rubber, when it comes to warm weather, either one is a very bad idea... (Not that I would know anything about leather in summer, honest! :D (Big Grin) )

Some people I know use babypowder before dressing up. Makes it less sticky, especially when you expect to sweat a lot

I'll see that wool kilt and battle dress, and raise you full medieval armor. Not that I've done it myself, but I've had friends who have... And I'm still surprised that they survived five minutes of all-out swordfighting in all that gear... Sweating a little... Makes me want to step into a walk-in freezer just thinking about it!

No, actually it kinda makes me wonder why I ever wanted to join the S.C.A. in the first place. :D (Big Grin) Medieval knights were nuts, but they had an excuse. Medieval re-creationists? Sweating a little... Downright scary!

Very much so. I personally would suggest setting it up in the basement, for people that have them--cool in summer, not too hard to heat in winter. Barring that, portable AC and good fans during warm weather, and decent space heaters (with reasonable caution) in winter.
