I'm probably reading into this picture too much but... I like how Ally doesn't have her nails done (long and painted red) in this picture. Kind of makes me think that something happened way before this and they had some sort of falling out and she didn't really have a need to get them done since she wasn't being Lisa's Domme or Mistress. I dunno.
I've looked at this a couple hundred times now, and it's interesting- the final panel has (to me, at least) more emotional content than the words account for. Either way, it's an awesome piece of work.
I never thought an emotion could be portrayed so perfectly through art. My feels go out to Lisa, whatever the situation is, feeling that hurt is never a fun feeling, especially when you love the person that hurt you.
In a very strange way this piece of art is the redeeming dream of someone who has reason to believe their feelings were used to play them. It is the oh-so-tempting yet unhealthy to dwell upon idea that no matter how justified the hurt or how bad it looks that somehow you were not fooled... somehow the other person loved you in return all along. The final line "I can prove it to you" says it all. Like I said... this is a dangerous thing to dwell upon for anyone who has had their heart broken through someone else's dishonesty... but it is only dangerous because of how beautiful it is.
